08.02.2007: Presentation Day.

Park was scaring me with her nervousness in class. Her hands were icy and she was worrying about the presentation. At first I wasn't nervous, but in the end she made me nervous as well. =_=

After a round of presentations, it was my turn. I went up and showed a picture of Epik High to everyone. I heard some "Oooh..." and "Wooooo..." Frankly speaking, I was pretty surprised that Epik High was well-known in my class. They're a Korean hip-hop group. I always thought that my class consisted of Korean drama-loving ahjummas and Korean teenybopper fans.


Then I introduced my fave member, Tablo. Gosh. My hands were like shaking and I had to hide my face with the piece of paper. I quickly presented it and my teacher came up and explained to me about Tablo's past. I was pretty surprised that she likes them too. She likes their music. *grins*

Verdict: Kim has a thing for shorties with good brains.

10.02.2007: Shopping *dies*

Man... I am never going to shop like that till the next Chinese New Year. JungPark shopped as though it's the end of the world and I'm kinda terrified by it. And they still wanted to shop this Friday. You guys can go without me. It's enough for me. @_@


I had a weird dream on Saturday night. I wonder if it's due to fatigue. *stares at JungPark*


I dreamt that I went to Korea and watched Buibui and Co. shooting a CF. I realised until in a coach that I didn't bring my passport and i was like "Shit". Then I approached a Japanese obasan and asked her about directions. I didnt bring any money as well. I was thinking of bunking in with her. She was nice, but she din let me bunk in with her. She brought me to the CF location and I vaguely remembered watching them shooting the CF. I spent a night at MyeongDong Guesthouse. -_-

The next day, the Japanese auntie had to leave Seoul and return back to Japan. I bade her goodbye and headed to the airport to ask for help. I went to the counter and spoke to a sickening fellow who was smirking when I told him that I didn't have my passport. He said that I was definitely going to jail since I didn't have any documents to prove my nationality.

And then I woke up. Cuz the thought of going to jail woke me up. @_@

I am NOT going to shop like that anymore.

Kim had her first triple-shot of Caramel Macchiato last evening. Kim had problems staying alive during class even after downing the triple-shot. Kim is going to attempt another circus move by oredering another triple-shot for tonight's class. We're doing a small presentation for our final class for this level.

Our office's Finance and Admin side got a gathering at the conference room. They had Indian cuisine and they asked a prata man up to prepare prata on the spot.

Finance Manager: Nope, it's from the kopitiam below our office.

Me: Then how come he still wear until majiam chef like that? Siao.

Kim's 26th birthday is going to end on a sweet note! It was mind-boggling at first, but very heart-warming!


Was first told to meet Park outside PartyWorld Orchard cuz Park was with "Pauline" at the time. Saw her waiting for me and was wondering how come Pauline wasn't there. *scratches head* Then she brought me to one of the room. (And it was Room 26) ^^ Jung was grinning at me lar! WTH!!!! Kena pianed... Hurhurhurhr....

We noraebang-ed till 6 something and then was about to proceed to a Jap restaurant when JungPark went to Paragon cab stand.

Kim: *Uhm...... ?*
JungPark: Don't worry. And listen to your i-Pod. We don't want you to hear what we're talking about.

And the best part? I got blind-folded in a cab with a PURPLE tie. I wonder if the tie belongs to UNCLE PAN.

I got led to the SECRET LOCATION by Park while blindfolded. I was shrieking away and I heard some Koreans talking. Then we arrived.

Although I came here a couple of times, it was always with other friends at NOT WITH KIMJUNGPARK. This also marks the date of KJP having dinner at Se Ra Bel~~~~ *GRINS*

Then they gave me my birthday prezzie! A FURLA purple leather i-Pod case!!! Wooohooo! Ni men zhen shi hao hai zi! Zhen shi you wo de xin arh!!! And Park rpesented me with a diary. Of what she had written from 29th August till now. I got a shock and so did Jung. We thought that it's only going to occupy maybe a few pages but she wrote an entire book. I'm touched. KOMAPSUBNIDA!!!!


We had tonnes of food. And we've exploded into bits due to over-stuffing ourselves like Christmas turkeys. @_@


After dinner and finally no more surprises. Or so I thought.


We headed to Clarke Quay and sat at the steps. Park was so damn scared she will fall into the stinky river while my mind kept thinking about the Hokkaido soft cream, which we finally got to eat. But before that, Jung presented something that resembled a cake. Well, the cake was "disfigured" after being kept in Jung's bag for too long. And I thought the red bean mochi was my cake! *GRINS*


Was reading Park's journal on the bus and my mouth was splitting. So many things happened during the entire journey.... *heartwarming*


We had problems with lighting the candle (damn the strong winds) and finished the cake in 10 minutes flat. Hahahahahhaha! The cake is small you see. =P

Omgosh! Today's the funniest night enforcement I've EVER had! I was laughing my big fat ass off at the Burping Queen, Mdm. Jeslyn Phua. Gosh! *wipes tears*


It all started when we were doing our monthly night enforcement. *Yes, we summon motorbikes parked at void decks, duh* And I had a water seepage appointment with a resident at this particular block. - Korean music (for all those times when I used to dislike anything Korean in general) *stuffs words back into my throat*
- Sleep (it's never enough for this sleep-deprived hibernating bear)


My colleagues told me that they were frothing in the mouth whenever they hear any Korean songs at my table. Jeslyn can even whistle to "The Day" and "Jung". The power of influence. *wriggles eyebrows*


I'm still having problems adjusting to the "work at 8am and knock off at 5pm" cycle. *zombified*

First day starting work at 8am. Came around 7.30 in the morning and as instructed by my boss last Saturday (the ever funny Nair), I have to turn on the office air-conditioning.


Me: *goes to the room and presses the switch*

Switch: *no reaction*

Me: =_= *heads out of the room*


After 10 minutes...


Pantry Auntie: "Ai Ling ah! How come still no aircon?! So hot!"

Me: I dunno! *in broken Hokkien and starts to panic*

Me: *pacing up and down and trying to figure out the damned switch*

Manager L: *comes into the office*

Me: *seeks Manager L's help and two pairs of eyes examining the switch*


Another 10 minutes later...


*Air-conditioning starts*


Me: *heaves a sigh of relief*


*Nair comes into the office and signs some documents at the staff pigeon-hole*


Me: "Sir, how come the switch I pressed but it doesn't turn on immediately."


Nair:"Cuz it's only a switch to turn it on. The air-conditioning has been set to be turned on at 7.55am."

Arh.. slept the whole afternoon off today! And I'ms till feeling sleepy. What the heck. =_=

Went to watch "The Holiday" last night with JungPark at Bishan. My feet was freezing due to the powerful airconditioning. But the show was very nice and all. Love the soundtrack.

After the movie, it was around 11 something. We headed to the McDonald's at the bus interchange over there. AND OH MY GOD. IT STOOD A KOPITIAM INSTEAD. We were like "WHERE'S MCDONALD'S?!" =_=

In the end we headed to Kopi Dao. Hot chocolate there SUCKS. I still prefer PACKAGED Hershey's Hot Chocolate. *sulks*

But we counted down and began the first few minutes of 2007 at Kopi Dao. *GRINS*
